Do you have a special gift for solving complex problems and helping people with technical issues?

EVS is hiring a junior software engineer who is passionate about the customer and their user experience. As a junior software engineer you will initially focus on troubleshooting technical problems and researching and answering technical questions. You will also assist in gathering requirements, documentation, user training, and support to maintain and improve overall system performance.

Over time, you will have the opportunity to assist in the development of EVS' industry-leading suite of warehouse management software, including our next-generation product, mobe3. mobe3 is an advanced multi-tier system consisting of web and mobile clients, REST and microservices, advanced analytics, and both SQL and non-relational data stores.

duties

  • Respond to technical support requests through email, phone, and helpdesk application.

  • Research problems and provide answers to clients.

  • Guide clients through steps to resolve issues.

  • Document issues and resolutions.

  • Test functionality of new and existing software.

  • Maintain and support existing product features and customers.

Required Experience

  • BS in CS or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to solve complex technical problems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Experience

  • Experience with help desk software (Zendesk, Freshdesk, GetSatisfaction).

  • Experience with bug tracking software (JIRA, Rally, Pivotal Tracker, etc).

  • Experience with continuous integration software (Travis CI, Jenkins, CruiseControl, etc).

  • Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc).

  • Experience with ERP systems (bonus points for Sage 500, Great Plains, Infor Syteline).

  • Understanding of general accounting, distribution and manufacturing principals.

EVS is hiring a product manager who is passionate about the customer and their user experience. As a mid-senior level engineer, you will be reporting to engineering leadership and working with our SaaS bots (microservices). The primary focus will be the recently launched mobe3 Warehouse Management System. mobe3 is a powerful WMS in an iOS app that handles all warehouse functions for every position from executives to forklift drivers and everyone in-between.

This is a great opportunity to help a new SaaS product scale into the SMB space.

duties

  • Code: our bot environment is NodeJS on the Azure platform
  • Contribute to cloud architecture discussions
  • Mentor more junior engineers on the platform and code base
  • Integrate our cloud solution with other related cloud services

Required Experience

  • BS in CS or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience as a software engineer
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with NodeJS

Desired Experience

  • Experience in a cloud deployed SaaS environment
  • Full product lifecycle experience from requirements through acceptance
  • Experience with source control / CI concepts
  • Responsibility around cloud security and scalability

EVS is looking for a product manager to work on our new mobe3 cloud WMS. mobe3 is an innovative next-gen iOS based Warehouse Management System and is bringing a new and fresh user experience to the supply chain software space. 

As product manager, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing and managing tasks related to mobe3 product development. You will be working closely with the customers, consultants, executive leadership and engineering team to implement our vision of beautiful, thoughtful and powerful supply chain software.

duties

  • Find and be able to articulate what our customer stakeholders really want and need, using qualitative and quantitative data to contribute to the high level roadmap.
  • Break higher level roadmap items down into specific requirements.
  • Prioritize effort allocation for: current customer needs, sales needs,  product vision and technical debt.
  • Help marketing and PR define the product messaging.
  • Track engineering progress and overall implementation readiness for feature releases.

Ideal Candidate

  • Background in software engineering, UX, and/or an understanding of how software is engineered
  • Understanding of physical supply chain and distribution environments
  • Possesses a high emotional intelligence
  • High organizational capability
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, sometimes chaotic environment

EVS is seeking a senior software developer to contribute to our mobe3 cloud-based enterprise application. mobe3 is a fresh, industrial strength IOS application that helps manufacturers and distributors become part of the modern integrated cloud ecosystem. You must have experience working with a team of 5+ developers where you were in the top tier of the developers. This is a great growth opportunity to work on a leading-edge enterprise product and disrupt a large ecosystem.

What you will be doing

  • Building out core product from a pipeline of user stories
  • Creating automated unit testing for user stories
  • Contribute to dev and deployment architecture
  • Working with team to define and automate best practices for source control and deployment
  • Mentoring members of our engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle in the areas of process, tools, design, quality, and engineering competency to deliver high-quality software products on a consistent and effective timeline

What you will need for this position

  • Linux experience in production cloud environments
  • Significant depth in: MSSQL, NodeJS, Dev Ops Deployment into a cloud environment
  • Demonstrated history integrating with third party web APIs
  • Knowledge of warehousing and supply chain is a plus
  • Ability to independently design and communicate proposed solutions to complex business problems prior to developing code
  • Work well with others in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
